Adjust your investment strategy and put your extra money into income-generating assets
One of the things I love most about my job is seeing people move from the left side of the cash flow table (i.e. employee or self-employed) to the right side of the cash flow table (i.e. entrepreneur or investor).

The process of transitioning from an employee or self-employed person to a business owner or expert investor is a bit like the process of turning a cocoon into a beautiful butterfly. It takes time and often requires a complete change in thinking and behavior.

One such behavioral change is knowing what to do when you suddenly have more money. Whether it’s from an inheritance, a raise or bonus, or some other source, the temptation for people on the left side of the chart can be at best to follow conventional advice about money, or worse, to spend it on debt. Like a car or vacation.

There are different ways to invest in stocks. How you invest often depends on your background level of education and financial training. With this in mind, we’ve created a set of basic rules for getting started investing in stocks for your success. Buy it, read and act. This will help you master the basics of investing in the stock market.
