My mentor was right, my partners and I were amateurs. We were not business owners, we were kids who succeeded. Instead of managing our cash flow, we worry about what car to buy. Instead of analyzing how competition can (ultimately) destroy us, we focused on wasting time and wasting our income.

At that time, I received a real-world business mentoring course from a wealthy mentor who was there to help me, and I finally realized what I was doing wrong, but unfortunately, my business failed at that time. One of my partners quit with the only money left, and I owed almost $1 million at the time, which took years to repay.

As I look back, I do not know if the struggle was worth it at the time. Sometimes, I think yes. But, did I know, the way I know now? No

You see, my biggest experience from the past was that professionals have mentors, amateurs do not. This is true of everything in life. From athletes to business owners and from relationships to personal finance, professionals know they do not know what they do not know.
